![]() Whilst looking through the options available in DISKPART, I noticed there's an 'ID' setting within create partition primary - I am wondering if this was altered via Rufus and it needs to be changed back? The only problem is I am struggling to find information on this and what it should be to see if that's right or not. I have tried all sorts of ways of formatting the drive and it still doesn't work - it works fine everywhere else, just not my car. I used Rufus boot drive creator and all 3 options UEFI/GPT-based hard drive partitions Microsoft Docs. I used the Microsoft Windows 10 media creator tool (rather than poweriso/diskpart)ģ. I use a USB stick my car, the device is here.Ī friend had an issue with their laptop, since it's the only USB stick I have I used it to create a bootable USB drive - I have done this many times in the past, I just reformat the drive using the standard windows format drive tool, with the default values, load my music back onto it and it works without issue. ![]()
